Institut Masa Depan Malaysia (MASA) is an independent think tank that brings together experts in government and academia to provide quality research, policy recommendations, and analysis on the full range of public policy issues guided by the shared prosperity values.

Institut Masa Depan Malaysia (MASA) was established in January 2019. The formation of the organisation was inspired and mandated by the seventh Prime Minister, YABhg. Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and the eighth Prime Minister, YB Tan Sri Dato’ Haji Muhyiddin Bin Haji Md Yassin was founded out of a passion to forward the philosophy of shared prosperity in Malaysia and this region. MASA was commissioned by the government of Malaysia to author and develop the Shared Prosperity Vision 2030 plan as the new socioeconomic plan for Malaysia
