Manish is a market-focused, growth-oriented, and a result-driven professional. He has deep expertise across enterprise, technology, telecom, energy, critical infrastructure and public sector domains – having led growth and turnarounds in these industries with global industry leaders.

For the past +5 years, Manish served as the Asia-Pacific Managing Director for Microsoft’s Regulated Industries - Energy, Critical Infrastructure, Healthcare, Education and Public Sector. He was responsible for formulation, execution and implementation of digital transformation strategies and initiatives to create new markets/sectors for cloud, data and AI platformsin Asia-Pacific. Manish delivered year on year Microsoft’s revenue and profitability growth by transforming this business from a software/license/OEM business to an industry led, cloud centric/XaaS growth portfolio.

Prior to Microsoft, Manish served as the SVP & Head of $2b+ Telenor Global Enterprise division and led the B2B/Enterprise business across Nordic countries, Central Europe and Asia. Based in Singapore, he led the diversification of the Telenor Group’s core connectivity business into emerging areas of Cloud, IoT, Cybersecurity and Enterprise Mobility. Manish also served as the Chairman of Telenor Cloud Services ASA, a fully owned subsidiary of Telenor. Before Telenor, Manish was the President of Airtel Business in South Asia, the B2B division of Bharti Airtel, a leading global telecom services provider worldwide. During his tenure at Airtel, he transformed Airtel Business from being a connectivity infrastructure player to be a leader in digital services provider in South Asia with revenues exceeding $1.5b and a market share of +31%. Additionally, he served on the management board of Airtel and on the Board of Nxtra Data Services, a subsidiary of Bharti Airtel.

In the past, Manish has also served as the Managing Director at Accenture and led the Infrastructure Services & Cloud practice for Asia-Pacific and Japan, based out of Australia. In addition, he led the international business division of SK Group, a $200b conglomerate in South Korea where he led the market expansion of their international business in telecom, engineering and technology across US, Middle East and Asia. He served on the Board of several SK affiliate organizations across China, India, Central Asia and US. Manish has also held leadership roles at Tech Mahindra (SCS), IBM and Hewlett-Packard.

Manish holds an MBA from INSEAD and has competed leadership programs at Harvard Business School. He also co-founded Indian Chamber of Commerce in Korea, an agency that promotes bilateral relationships and trade between India and South Korea and is an ex-member of Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD). Manish serves on the advisory board of Sustainable Development at Asia Development Bank (ADB) and Ecosystm.
