Achilles Risvas founded Dromeus Capital Group in April 2008. As CEO & Chief Investment Officer, he leads the firm’s overall strategy and investment activities. He also serves as portfolio manager for Dromeus Global Opportunities Fund, Dromeus Global Real Estate Fund, Greco Fund, and Dromeus Greek Real Estate Fund II. Before founding Dromeus, he was a Director in the Fixed Income division of Lehman Brothers in London, advising Sovereign Wealth Funds, Central Banks, and other financial institutions in Eastern Europe, Russia & CIS, the Middle East, and Africa. With over two decades of financial markets experience, Achilles has previously worked in foreign exchange trading, structuring, and sales roles at Citigroup in London and BNP Paribas in Paris & London. He began his career in 2000 as an investment advisor at Merrill Lynch in London. Achilles is also an active angel investor and mentor, serving as an advisor at Metavallon VC, a venture capital firm investing in early-stage technology startups. Achilles holds an Executive MBA from the University of Cambridge (Judge Business School) and a Master of Science in Investment Management from Bayes Business School (formerly Cass Business School), City, University of London. He is a CFA® charterholder.
