Apostolos Kakkos is a serial entrepreneur in technology, data centers & real estate. In 2002 he founded Lamda Hellix as a JV with listed Lamda Development (Latsis Group) while in 2013 bought 100% of the capital and assumed also the roles of Chairman & CEO. Prior to that, he had held top management positions with listed companies within the IT, Telecom and Financial Services sectors. He has been also a founding member & the Chairman of the European Data Centre Association (EUDCA) based in Brussels for 10 years. Apostolos has formed, sold and was/is shareholder and/or Executive Board member in a number of companies in the Technology, Security and Real Estate sectors.
Apostolos has been honoured with the Kouros Award for Development and Innovation, the Best European Data Centre Entrepreneur Award and the RSM Ruban D’ honneur RSM Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
He holds a BSc in Physics from the University of Athens, a MEng in IT from University College London (UCL) and an MEng in Industrial Relations & Management from the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE). As a constant learner he has been following executive training seminars in Finance, M&A, Venture Capital, Real Estate & Family Office/Wealth Management at London Business School (LBS), University of California, Berkeley, Harvard Business School (HBS) and Columbia Business School.
