Devashish Gupta

Dev Gupta joined ESR in May 2019 to spearhead the creation of the Data Centre Vertical. As Chief Investment Officer for ESR Data Centres, he is responsible for the development of the DC strategy, Acquisitions, Investment Management and Customer / Operator Partnerships. He has successfully received commitments for a dedicated APAC Data Centre development fund, acquired 8 assets with a total development potential of 560MW facility load across 6 countries in the region, and set-up a 20 member dedicated team for Data Centre design and development.

Prior to joining ESR, Dev was Director Investments, Allianz Real Estate, where he was responsible for development of new investment strategies across new APAC markets including Digital Infrastructure and Modern Logisitcs.

He has twenty six years of experience in strategy creation, starting businesses, and asset acquisitions/ DD/ financial analysis/ deal structuring across real estate, digital infrastructure, technology, and renewable assets in APAC.

Dev holds a Bachelor’s of Engineering and Masters of Business Administration.
