The Rt Hon Alun Cairns MP was elected in 2010 and is a former UK Government Cabinet Member. He served three Prime Ministers between 2015 and 2019. He is the Chairman of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Energy Security and the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Qatar. He has a strong interest in international trade and made FDI his focus as Secretary of State. Alun has a background in financial services compliance and holds an MBA from the University of Wales. He currently advises Elite Partner's Capital.
He has completed 12 London Marathons and holds the title as the fastest current MP to complete the course in 3:26!
