Ignacio Gómez

Ignacio is one of the founders of Fide Partners and the managing director of our EMEA operations. He spends his time between Madrid and London. Ignacio has been instrumental in Fide Partners’ rapid growth since its foundation.

He has over 23 years of experience in the TMT sector. Ignacio has completed hundreds of assignments, advising operators, regulators, and investors at CxO and Board levels to overcome their issues and challenges.

Having worked extensively in EMEA, APAC and the Americas, Ignacio currently oversees our European operations. He has been advising global TMT players and their shareholders, particularly regarding fibre, data centres, mobile infrastructure, broadcasting and hosting, and cloud / SaaS. In particular, he has led the commercial and technical reviews of over 100 operations. In the MEA region, he has worked on many projects in Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Turkey and South Africa. These projects include reviewing the carve-outs of tower infrastructure across multiple countries, assessing the fixed and mobile connectivity landscape, assessing demand and supply for data centres and supporting an operator on the regulatory review of mobile termination rates.

Before co-founding Fide Partners, Ignacio worked for seven years as a Principal for Analysys Mason and six years at Alcatel-Bell.

Ignacio holds an MSc in Telecommunications Engineering and speaks Spanish, English, Dutch, Italian, French and German fluently.
