Philip Hobden

Philip Hobden is an Executive Vice President in the Telecoms, Media at Telecoms Client Coverage Team at Standard Bank Group, based in London.

He has been involved with the origination and execution of a wide range of financing, advisory and hedging transactions during his time with the bank, working with leading sector operators in Africa and the wider emerging markets.

Standard Bank Group is the largest African bank by balance sheet size, with a footprint spanning 20 key markets on the continent, plus a presence in key international financial centres.

Prior to his time with Standard Bank, Philip was focused on financing and advisory work within Western Europe’s TMT sector.
