Harqs Singh

An accomplished executive in the digital infrastructure, data, artificial intelligence, power generation and sustainability areas with a proven history of strategic planning and executing large-scale investments within complex global entities.

Currently serving as CTO for Infrapartners, he has been COO of Technology, AI, Data and Information Security at BlackRock. Harqs also was an Executive Advisor to the BlackRock Infrastructure Fund & Sustainability Funds, providing strategic insights that guided investment decisions across digital infrastructure and sustainability assets, enhancing portfolio performance and supporting sustainable growth.

Skilled in leveraging technology, data, and innovative business models to drive disruptive change. Has consistently engaged with key stakeholders, including Board of Directors and C-level executives, both within the organization and in the broader industry.

Harqs’ experience spans a wide range of industries, including Financial Services, Investment firms, Telecommunications, Data Providers and Web companies. He has held leadership positions across industry organizations including the EU CoC for Data Centers, The Green Grid, collaboration with the US EPA and other leading industry organizations. Harqs is the lead author of the Data Center Maturity Model and was credited with Outstanding Contribution to the Data Center Industry from different industry groups.

Harqs holds a First Class Bachelor's degree from the University of Birmingham in Computer Science, Software Engineering and Business Studies.
