James Tyler

James joined Equinix in 2016 and holds responsibility for overseeing Equinix’s largest market in EMEA. James steps into the position from his leadership roles as part of the EMEA HR organization where he most recently managed the HR partnership for global markets, product, and technology. In 2025 James was appointed as a member of the UK Government’s UK AI Energy Council.

Prior to Equinix, James served as Chief Commercial Officer at TelecityGroup, where he played a crucial role in building the company, including its IPO, ultimately facilitating its $3bn acquisition by Equinix.

James is an alumni of University of Aberdeen, Università per Stranieri di Perugia and Judge Business School, University of Cambridge.
