Bal Aujla is Director of Advanced Research & Engineering, accelerating innovation for data center solutions through advanced designs, prototyping and commercial evaluation. He focuses on leading edge technologies and implementation methods to deliver data centers faster that meet client needs. Bal brings a strong background in technology leadership, business transformation and risk management. Formerly Global Head of Innovation Labs at BlackRock, he also led the firm's enterprise cloud programme for Azure, AWS and Google Cloud. Previously, Bal led complex global programmes and sourcing initiatives for Shell, British Telecom, Siemens, HMRC and other multi-nationals.
