Syed Natif Nawaz

Syed Natif Nawaz is the Managing Partner & Chief Growth Officer of Aurum Equity Partners, where he leads the firm’s flagship $1B+ Opportunity Fund focused on ESG-aligned, AI-ready digital infrastructure across the U.S., MENA, and Asia. He also serves as Managing Partner & CTO of Aurum Venture Partners, managing Vision Fund I, which has deployed capital into 50+ disruptive companies including OpenAI, Anthropic, Cerebras, Ripple, Natilus and Perplexity.

Prior to Aurum, Nawaz was the Head of Global Operations at Equinix, overseeing more than 110 data centers across four continents. During his tenure, he scaled the platform’s revenue from $3.6B to $5.0B+, executed $7B+ in M&A transactions, and achieved industry-leading uptime and compliance standards (99.999% SLA).

A double CCIE and CCIE Emeritus, Nawaz is also the author of IOS XR Fundamentals, a widely referenced publication in next-generation network architecture. Syed holds 11 patents in the field of intelligent data center systems and sustainable infrastructure, of which five are approved , with several additional patents currently under review. He is a frequent speaker at global investor forums and AI infrastructure summits, contributing thought leadership on the future of digital infrastructure and institutional capital markets.
