Tesh Durvasula is an experienced technology and real estate industry executive with a 25-year track record of successful leadership and value generation in the digital infrastructure sector. He has broad experience through all elements of business, including finance, real estate, development, operations, technology, marketing, and sales.

Durvasula served in a variety of executive roles at CyrusOne initially as the company’s chief commercial officer, responsible for sales, marketing, and strategy. He drove value for the company and its investors through a combination of rapid sales growth and mergers and acquisitions. Durvasula led the acquisitions of data centre providers Sentinel and Cervalis, as well as the data centre assets of the financial trading campus of CME Group - the three transactions had a combined value of over $1 billion. His strong record of value creation and scaling the organisation, helped Cyrus go from an initial investment of $525 million to its eventual outcome, acquisition by KKR for $15 billion.

He was then appointed president of Europe for the company, where he oversaw the company’s expansion into England, Ireland, France and Germany, which saw the organisation grow into one of the largest publicly traded REIT’s in the US. Finally, Durvasula was appointed CyrusOne’s chief executive officer, and during his tenure at the company, annual revenue grew from $221 million in 2012 to over $1 billion in 2020.

Throughout his career he has specialised in implementing growth strategies for internet infrastructure businesses. Prior to joining CyrusOne, he was chief marketing and business officer for Quality Technology Services, which IPO’d as a REIT, QTS Data Centers. At QTS Durvasula created and executed the company’s go-to-market strategy, paving the way for evolution from privately held company to equity-backed organisation to IPO, and then eventually acquired by Blackstone for $10 billion in 2021.

He was previously chief marketing and business officer for Telx, a colocation and interconnection provider. He joined the company by way of acquisition, when Telx and the REIT Digital Realty Trust acquired the interconnection businesses and data centre business, respectively, of NYC-Connect, a New York City based data centre and interconnection provider founded by Durvasula. Before founding NYC-Connect, he held management positions at Abovenet, Sprint, and Metromedia Fiber Networks.

Durvasula is a graduate of Syracuse University, with EMBA work at Columbia University and Stanford University. He lives with his wife and three sons in Greenwich, Connecticut, where he has been a youth football coach for over ten years and has been involved in charities dedicated to homelessness, and youth athletics.

Anubhav is an expert in investment banking, IPOs and financial and operational strategy. As the Chief Financial Officer for Aligned, Anubhav is responsible for the company’s financial and operational strategy. He manages the development and monitoring of control systems that preserve company assets, reduce risk and report accurate financial results. Prior to Aligned, Anubhav was the Senior Vice President at TIER REIT overseeing Capital Markets and Finance for the organization.

Mark Kidd is EVP and General Manager of Iron Mountain Data Centers and has led the organization

since its inception in 2013. Mark is responsible for driving growth across Iron Mountain’s data center

platform, including identifying and developing strategic expansion opportunities and overseeing

design and construction of new facilities. One of Mark’s key focuses is on ‘greening the grid’ which

Ms Anne Foster is a director with over 15 years’ experience across investment, financial advisory, asset management and investment banking focused on infrastructure and global energy. Michael Ortiz has credentials that span over 22 years leading publicly traded companies. These experiences span across various platforms associated with data center, cloud, hybrid cloud and multi-cloud deployments touching the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

Michael presently leads Layer 9 Data Centers as Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder. In this role, he brings to the table over 13 years of expertise driving solutions tohyperscale data center clients.

Prior to Layer 9, Michael held various portfolio management and site selection leadership roles for Digital Realty and DuPont Fabros Technology. Michael also served in portfolio management at Equity Office Properties through the sale to Blackstone and within the investment banks at JP Morgan and Mitsubishi Tokyo Financial Group.

Guy Willner, is a British entrepreneur with substantial experience in building, operating and investing in businesses, predominantly in the TMT and ICT industries, both in the private and public markets and both in developed and emerging markets.

Mr. Willner is the co-founder Chairman and former CEO of IXcellerate, a datacenter operator in Russia providing co-location and peering services for financial institutions, multinational corporations, international carriers, hyperscale operators and major content operators.

He has also served as the co-founder and Chairman of IXAfrica since 2018 and previously served as the CEO of IXEurope (LSE: IXE) from 1999 to 2007. Mr. Willner founded IXEurope in 1998 and oversaw the company’s growth from a sole datacenter in London to a network of 14 datacenters located in four countries (France, UK, Germany and Switzerland) and eight cities, fueled, inpart, by the company successfully executing eight acquisitions between 2004 and 2006. This rapid expansion resulted in IXEurope winning first place in the 2002 UK Sunday Times Tech Track awards as the fastest growing technology company in the UK, and Mr. Willner was a finalist in the 2003 Ernst and Young UK Entrepreneur of the Year awards. With his team, the company was successfully listed on London’s AIM market (LSE: IXE) in April 2006. That same year, the company received the Queen’s Award for International Trade in recognition of its spectacular growth across Europe. IXEurope’s share price grew by a multiple of 6.4x from April 2006 to September 2007, culminating in IXEurope being purchased by Equinix (NASDAQ: EQIX) for $555 million in September 2007. Following the sale, Mr. Willner remained as the President of Equinix’s European sector through June 2008.

Mr. Willner invested in and joined the board of directors of Teraco Data Environments (South Africa) in 2008, and remained as a shareholder and board member until 2014 when the company was sold to Permira.

In 2018, Mr. Willner founded IXAfrica, a hyperscale datacenter operator in Kenya that is projected to be the largest hyperscale datacenter campus inEast Africa by 2025.

Mr. Willner holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Oxford Brookes University.

Penny Madsen is a senior research director for IDC's BuyerView research, focusing on Cloud Pulse, which provides quarterly insights into cloud adoption and investment trends. Her research covers software and infrastructure trends, offering insights that help leading vendors and infrastructure providers to develop strategy for future customer deployment scenarios.

Madsen has spent the past decade focusing on the datacenter and services market in Europe as an analyst and journalist. She most recently headed up CBRE's EMEA datacenter research, where she consulted with leading hyperscale and leased datacenter operators as well as the investment and real-estate developer community on adoption trends and strategy. She has had a seat at the table through the market's evolution as a result of cloud and regularly contributes to industry events as a speaker and moderator. Maya Hennerkes is the Director for Green Financial Systems at the Climate Strategy and Delivery Department of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Prior to this, she led EBRD’s ESG work with financial institutions and private equity funds. She promotes sustainable financial systems and the integration of climate, environmental and social matters in investment decisions and management. Maya is a sustainable finance and ESG expert with almost 20 years of experience, with previous positions at the Inter-American Development Bank Group in Washington DC and Bloomberg L.P. in London.

She is a member of the Club of Rome’s Think Tank 30 and serves on the Advisory Board of SustainableFinance.Live. Maya studied economics, political science and Latin America studies in Germany and Spain and holds an Executive Masters in Public Management from the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin.

Mr. Ong joined Gaw Capital in 2021 as Managing Director – Head of IDC Platform, Asia (Ex-China). He spearheads Internet Data Centre (IDC) platform investments for Gaw Capital Partners outside of the China region.

Prior to joining Gaw Capital Partners, Mr. Ong worked in the Keppel Group of companies for 10 years in a number of roles including being a Senior Vice President and since 2014, as the Head of Strategy and Global Investments at Keppel Data Centres, a regional data centre owner and operator with over 25 data centres spread across the APAC and European regions. He has over 20 years of international experience in data centres, telecom and submarine cable development projects. He has strong track record in fundraising, growing data centre businesses in key markets in Asia and Europe, and leading investment teams to acquire data centres in Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Germany and in the Netherlands. He was ranked by Data Economy in 2018 as one of the world’s top 25 finance deal makers in the data centre and cloud industry.

Mr. Ong received his Bachelor of Accounting degree from the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and graduated from the Sloan Fellows Program at Stanford University with a Master of Science in Management from the Graduate School of Business in 2007. Sonya Iovieno is Head of Venture & Growth Banking at SVB UK, where she supports high growth companies that have raised equity from Venture Capital Funds. Prior to founding Structure Research in 2011, Mr. Shih was the first hosting infrastructure analyst hired after Tier1 Research was sold to The 451 Group (2005) and spent six years as Senior Analyst for managed hosting and cloud. In this role, Mr. Shih helped launch Tier1’s coverage of hosting and cloud in international markets and was the lead and contributing author to all of the company’s quarterly and bi-annual hosting infrastructure sector reports.

Prior to joining Tier1 Research, Mr. Shih spent more than four years covering the web hosting industry – three of them as Senior Staff Writer for The Web Host Industry Review’s online and print publications. At theWHIR, Mr. Shih covered companies in the SMB and enterprise hosting, cloud and colocation segments.

Mr. Shih holds an MA in Political Science from the University of British Columbia with a specialization in political economic development.

Ken Campbell has more than twenty-five years of experience in the telecom industry. He has served in CEO and senior executive roles with operators in North America, North Africa and Europe.

Mr. Campbell is a Partner with PMP Strategy (London) and the Chairman of Canadian B2B operator, Terago. He also serves as a Non-Executive Director of South African FTTH player, Octotel and as an NED of Upstream Systems, a PE-backed mobile commerce company serving emerging markets.

Mr. Campbell was also the Founder of Mobile Klinik, Canada’s leading smartphone repair network, which he sold to Canadian operator Telus in 2020.

Mr. Campbell has served as Managing Director of Moroccan operator, INWI and was the CEO of Ooredoo Tunisia. He was also founding CEO of Canadian operator, WIND Mobile and the CEO of private equity backed Bite Group in Lithuania and Latvia. Mr. Campbell has also served in executive leadership roles for Vodafone (Romania), Orascom Telecom and Orange (Egypt).

Mr. Campbell began his career with the management consultancy, A.T. Kearney in Washington, DC.

Mr. Campbell holds a Masters in Business Administration from London Business School in London, UK and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours Economics) from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada.

Valentina serves as Sales Director – Carrier Business at China Mobile International UK and she is responsible for revenue generated by all Carrier Products from Infrastructure (subsea and terrestrial capacity, Enterprise connectivity, IDC) to A2P and Mobile (Sponsor Roaming, IPX, Clearing), both IOT Connectivity and IOT Solutions, inclusive of devices and platforms.

Starting in the Wholesale telecom industry over 15 years’ ago, Valentina helped to develop ‘start-ups’ into successful established businesses, through her exceptional pioneering skills, desire to build long-term relationships and focus on solutions to ensure the client’s business sustainability.

She holds a Philosophy Degree from University Ca’ Foscari (Venice) and a Masters in “Management and Business Development of Medium-Small sized companies’’ from University IULM (Milan).

She also represented Italy in International Rugby Union for 2 years.

A chartered energy engineer with over 25-years’ experience of mission critical environments across the aviation, telco, banking and technology sectors and specialising in Power, Sustainability, Compliance and Operational Risk

Having held senior roles in BAA, WSP, Vodafone, UBS and Digital Realty, Paul has significant experience in design and operational performance of Data Centre facilities. Paul has managed teams of compliance professionals delivering excellence across Energy, Environment, Security, Business Continuity and Supply Chain.

With specific focus on the Technology sector, VIPA Digital specialises in providing commercial and technical support to investors, developers, operators and end-users of Data Centre infrastructure.

Paul holds a BEng (Hons) in Energy Engineering and is a member of the Energy Institute (CEng, MinstE).

João is the founder and editor of The Tech Capital. Winner of the Professional Publishers Association (PPA) 30 Under 30 media award, he owns a real passion for the media and has experience across online, print and broadcast. He has reported from over 30 countries worldwide, filming interviews with CEOs of big tech companies and government figures, amongst others.
