Lionel Yeo is Chief Executive Officer, Southeast Asia at ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC). He is responsible for leading and growing the company’s data centre business in current and new markets across Southeast Asia, as well as driving commercial strategy and product development within the region. This includes markets like Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Vietnam. Lionel also served as VP for Corporate Development and Investments where he was responsible for new market investments, operational setup, and strategy for the Group. Prior to that, he was General Manager for STT Singapore 5, following a joint venture deal where he led the operational transition of the data centre business.

Lionel has held various leadership roles across investment, operations, asset management, product and strategy in the data centre industry. Prior to joining STT GDC, he was Vice President, Investments in Keppel where he led and managed the development of data centre assets across Singapore and Australia.

Lionel holds an Executive MBA from UCLA-NUS and Bachelor of Accountancy with Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

Andy Sutrisno is a the Sector Coverage Lead for Telecom and Media (“TM”) as well the Co-Lead for the Digital Infrastructure (“DI”) Coverage Team in Asia Pacific (ex-Japan) at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. Andy has extensive sector banking experience in the region with TM and DI being one of the few most important and core sub-sectors under his coverage. He has been involved in several transactions across the spectrum of banking products including M&A advisory, acquisition finance, project finance, DCM and ECM.

Prior to joining SMBC in 2017, he was an Associate Director in Standard Chartered’s TMT team and part of the Investment Banking team in Goldman Sachs, both in Singapore. Before moving to Singapore, he started his career with KPMG and PwC in Jakarta.

Andy holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Yonsei School of Business, South Korea.

Marcin Nowakowski is the Head of Telecom and Technology, Asia Pacific at Natixis CIB.

He joined Natixis CIB in July 2022, bringing with him 15 years’ origination and execution experience in Asia Pacific, and a broad understanding of all major Technology, Media & Telecoms (TMT) verticals, including digital infrastructure and new economy platforms.

Prior to Natixis CIB, Marcin was with Credit Agricole CIB, most recently as Executive Director for Technology Sector Coverage, before which he led the IB and financing origination efforts as Executive Director for TMT. Jacqueline is a partner in Milbank LLP’s Singapore office. She was previously resident in the firm’s Hong Kong office.

Prior to joining Digital Edge, Yaniv worked at J.P. Morgan for 17 years in their Hong Kong, New York, London and Tel Aviv offices. Most recently he served as Managing Director and Co-Head of J.P. Morgan Technology, Media and Telecom Investment Banking in Asia Pacific, where he advised and raised capital for some of the most impactful technology and digital infrastructure companies in the region.

Gautam is a senior Investment Banker with over 25 years experience focusing primarily on the TMT Sector and has worked across the US, Europe and Asia. He has advised leading TMT Sector Companies, on their strategic initiatives and led a number of complex M&A and financing transactions over the years.

Gautam has extensive experience in the South East and South Asian regions where he has deep relationships across corporates, conglomerates and family owned business. He was previously Managing Director, Co-Head of Asia Pacific TMT at Merrill Lynch/Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Gautam received an MBA from the Booth School of Business, University of Chicago.

Senior Investment Officer, Telecom, Digital Infrastructure & Natural Resources (Asia Pacific), International Finance Corporation

Tugay Yilmaz is a Senior Investment Officer at IFC where she is part of the Infrastructure & Natural Resources team. Tugay is based in Singapore and is covering IFC’s Telecom and Digital Infrastructure investments in Malaysia, Philippines, Maldives, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. James is a subject matter expert in data centre design and delivery, having delivered projects in over 14 countries and 3 continents, often with diverse and remote teams. During his data centre career, he has carried out due diligence reports and feasibility studies, white space fit outs, refurbishments, migrations and new build projects. The client base for these projects have been enterprise organisations, co-location providers and hyperscale owner/operators. He has been closely involved with the campus planning of large hyperscale facilities along with the test fits for template design on sites. He is a specialist in early works, delivering ‘shovel ready’ developments as well as bringing project through to final completion. Within the data centre community, he has lead specialist interest groups for companies and speaks regularly at international conferences on a variety of data centre subjects.
