Jon Plavnick is a GIP Credit Partner having joined GIP in 2022. He focuses on global infrastructure private credit opportunities and is based in New York.

Prior to joining GIP, Mr. Plavnick was a Managing Director at Oaktree Capital Management where he was responsible for high yield and distressed private credit opportunities. At Oaktree he managed private deal sourcing, structuring, and underwriting and led a number of successful restructuring processes. Before Oaktree, Mr. Plavnick was Head of Asset Finance and Securitization at BNP Paribas for Latin America, where he managed a dedicated team that closed several landmark transactions in the region. He spent the prior 8 years at Deutsche Bank in London and New York as a credit trader and structurer, responsible for structured, sovereign, and corporate deals.

Before joining Vantage, Haslehurst held the roles of CFO and COO at the Moneycorp Group, a London-based fintech payments company. He joined Moneycorp on the back of Royal Bank of Scotland’s Private Equity division buying the company in 2012. Philbert Shih is the Founder and Managing Director of Structure Research, an independent Toronto and Singapore-based research and consulting firm devoted to the cloud and data centre infrastructure services markets with a specialization in the hyperscale value chain.

Mr. Shih is based in Toronto and has covered the infrastructure services space for over 20 years. He also initiated the Swiss-IX in 2001, the France-IX in 2009, the Accra-IX in 2023, and the Nairobi-IX in 2024. He initiated and co-founded the Africa Data Centres Association in 2018, and is currently a board member. Wouter is a graduate of Imperial College and INSEAD.

Steve Wallage is the Managing Director for Danseb Consulting, the leading provider of strategic consulting and commercial due diligence to the data centre, co-location, IaaS and telecoms markets.

He has over 25 years experience in the industry, including six years as a Principal Analyst at Gartner Group, and then more than ten years leading BroadGroup Consulting.

Some of his strategic consulting projects include work for operators, vendors and users, ranging from market entry to detailed market analysis to business and financial/business modelling.

Ainsley Woods is a Senior Research Analyst with Structure Research, an independent Toronto and Singapore-based research and consulting firm devoted to the cloud and data centre

Joanne is a senior projects and project finance lawyer in the energy, natural resources and infrastructure sectors with over 16 years of experience gained in a variety of challenging roles. Joanne plays an integral role in supporting clients on complex cross-border transactions in the renewable power, conventional power, infrastructure and oil and gas sectors. Although she predominately focusses on transactions across Africa, she also has a strong track record in the Middle East and Europe. Many of the financings Joanne has advised on have involved DFIs, ECAs, Islamic banks and multilateral lenders and Joanne has keen interest in clean energy solutions.

Dawn is the Chief Executive of Pure. She’s an accomplished engineer and operator who was honoured with a Fellowship from the Royal Academy of Engineering in 2020 and appointed DBE in the 2023 New Year honours list for her services to engineering.

After leading the operational arm of Pure for two years, ensuring the delivery of resilient 24/7 operations globally, Dawn moved into the role of CEO. Prior to joining Pure, her career spanned several engineering sectors and industries including UK Change Director for National Grid across both the gas and electricity transmission businesses; Group Engineering Director for Merlin Entertainments with responsibility for engineering delivery, standards, practices and processes across the worldwide portfolio of more than 130 theme parks, resorts and attractions; Head of Engineering at Gatwick Airport covering the infrastructure and technical services at the airport; and over 20 years as an Engineering Officer in the Royal Air Force where she held various positions including Head of Engineering at RAF Waddington looking after the Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance aircraft fleets and Deputy Chief Engineer for the Air Transport and Air to Air Refuelling aircraft fleets.

She has a track record of developing women in her organisation as well as working to bring more women and girls into engineering. She is a Trustee and Chair of the Audit Committee of the Royal Academy of Engineering, Deputy Chair of Worldskills UK, chair of the iMasons Diversity and Inclusion Committee and was the longest serving President of the Women’s Engineering Society from 2018 to 2023.
